Dr. Yvonne Smith, CHt is an internationally known hypnotherapist. She will be joining us at the 2012 International UFO Congress this year. Yvonne will be speaking on Wednesday February 22, from 1:00 – 2:15 p.m. The topic of her discussion will be Recollections of Alien Abduction Through Hypnotherapy: Solo, Duo, and Multiple Abductions.
Yvonne will also be hosting our Experiencer Sessions throughout the conference. Experiencer sessions are a place where people who have had close encounter experiences can get together and discuss them with a licensed professional without fear of ridicule or judgement… No press is allowed into these events.

Yvonne became concerned with victims of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (“PTSD”) in the late 1980s, and in 1990 (after 2 years of studies and 1000 hours of internship) received her certification from the California Hypnosis Motivation Institute, the only such accredited institution in the United States. She immediately began to work with PTSD victims, assisting them and encouraging them to work through and cope with their PTSD. Since 1991 Yvonne extensively co-lectured with Harvard’s John Mack, M.D., Budd Hopkins, and David Jacobs, Ph.D., in the United States at M.I.T and several other universities…and also at many conferences. Yvonne formed the Close Encounters Research Organization in 1991 after her work with PTSD discovered a pattern of alien abduction and other close encounter experiences. CERO provides personal attention and maintains active monthly support group meetings.
As the foremost female hypnotherapist in this field, Yvonne has had many opportunities to lecture with and be a panel-member with well known UFO researchers writers and speakers such as Budd Hopkins, Stanton Friedman, Maj. Jesse Marcel, Jr., David Jacobs, Paola Harris, Dr. John Mack, Robert Dean, Dr. John Miller, Steve Bassett, Linda Howe, and Michael Lindemann.
Yvonne is the author of CHOSEN: Recollections of UFO Abductions Through Hypnotherapy. The book contains explicit and dramatic transcripts of subjects describing, during hypnotherapy, their traumatic recollections of alien encounters and abductions.
