Dear Friends,
As many of you know, this organization has been a part of our family for the past 19 years. And in return, Teri, myself, and all 3 of my daughters, have become very close with the volunteers and the attendees, and you all have become our extended family. Every year, we’ve worked very hard to bring you the best conference that we could possibly deliver, and looked forward to spending the week with you. It is with a saddened heart, that I must admit, that the time has finally come for me to retire. The Brown family is very torn about this, and feels a great connection to Teri through this wonderful week and everyone involved, but it is time to hand the reins over. At the conclusion of the February 2010 Conference, I will turn over the conference to Open Minds Productions. They will have information on their plans for the future of your conference at the event, and be available to answer any and all questions.

History Channel Airs Revolutionary UFO Film – I Know What I Saw
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Sept 30, 2009 (ZCNEWS) - Film maker James Fox producer of OUT OF THE BLUE, despite an uphill battle has succeeded in his efforts to air his newest UFO documentary I Know What I Saw on the History Channel this Sunday October 4 at 9:00 pm ET and again on Monday October 5 at 1:00 am ET.
James Fox has assembled what many consider to be the most credible UFO witnesses from around the world to testify publicly about their experiences. High ranking Air Force officers, astronauts, military and commercial pilots and FAA officials from seven different countries tell their stories in the film.
Corporate Media Gets Political
The History Channel is part of AETN, a joint venture of The Hearst Corporation, The Walt Disney Company and NBC Universal.
Considering that mainstream corporate media investigative programs like CBS 60 Minutes and NBC Dateline have chosen to ignore any of the well documented evidence concerning the reality of UFOs or the government cover-up of this politically charged phenomenon, it comes as a surprise that the Hearst Corporation, Disney and NBC Universal would break ranks in this manner with other corporate media to air such a politically sensitive film which calls into question the political legitimacy of keeping the truth behind the UFO phenomenon from the public.
Does this breakthrough-film reflect a significant shift in position among large media corporation ownership or has James Fox hit a nerve in the peripheral nervous system of American news industry that might ameliorate the paralysis at CBS, NBC, ABC, the Washington Post, the New York Times, the Pentagon or the White House?

Former Arizona Governor Comes Forward
Of significant note in the film is the testimony of former Governor of Arizona, Fife Symington who states that the film “will challenge your reality”. Symington, as an Arizona Governor initially denied seeing anything unusual over Phoenix Arizona in March 1997, but later came forward to admit that he actually did witness the acclaimed Phoenix Lights – one of the most unusual and profound mass sightings of a UFO in American history.
Fox has achieved a behind-the-scenes perspective on U.S. government operations intent on the confiscation of substantive evidence from close encounters with unidentified aerial phenomenon – to the extent that even Presidents have failed to get straight answers from military and intelligence officials.
From all accounts this film will provide powerful and incontrovertible evidence that craft of unknown origin enter our airspace with impunity; perform maneuvers to effortlessly elude our most sophisticated jet air craft and – they occasionally land, as described by a US Air Force Officer who approached a landed UFO craft near a United States Air Force base in England.

Pennsylvania leads the nation in UFO sightings
“UFO’s. . . Seeing is Believing”
The Pennsylvania Mutual UFO Network will present a UFO Conference on Friday from 6-10:30pm and Saturday from 11-6pm on October 9 & 10 2009 at the Montgomery Community College 340 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell Pa 19422 and Saturday October 17th 2009 from 10am to 6pm at the Westmoreland Community College 145 Pavillion Ln Youngwood, Pa 15697.
Pennsylvania has been the epicenter of the world’s largest UFO wave since the summer of 2008. There have been over 350 UFO reports filed with MUFON from Pittsburgh to Philly over the past twelve months. John Ventre, the Pennsylvania State Director for MUFON stated, “We’re getting clusters of sightings from every town from Pittsburgh to Philly along the southern half of the state. We have 51 reports in the Pittsburgh-Westmoreland County area and 155 in the Philly area. I get reports of UFO’s coming in from Lake Erie in Ohio and across Wheeling, West Virginia into the Pittsburgh area and they are seen minutes later on the Eastern part of the state.
The Discovery Channel was in Pa last summer to film a pilot show for a series entitled “UFO’s over Earth” that aired last November. The History Channel flew in this past March and ilmed a show for their popular series “UFO Hunters” which aired this past May.”
The Conference will present a combination of expert Paranormal and UFO speakers. There will be speakers discussing the UFO phenomenon, Abductions, Bigfoot and the Bible and UFOs.
Speakers include Dr David Jacobs of Temple University, Stanton T Friedman who investigated Roswell, Richard Dolan who has written numerous books on the government coverup, Rev Barry Downing who published the “Bible and UFOs”, Bill Birnes of UFO Hunters, Peter Robbins who investigated the Rendlesham Forrest UK incident, Tom Carey who investigated Roswell, John Ventre and Butch Witkowski of the Mutual UFO Network. He’ll discuss a number of the many Loch Ness expeditions in search of Nessie and also discuss the underwater photographs which threw a different light on the subject. Malcolm will also inform the audience of the time when movie mogul Steven Spielberg made moves to assist Malcolm ‘capture’ “Nessie” ! All in all then, you’ll spend an enjoyable afternoon immersed in the legend that is ‘Loch Ness’. A truly visual and powerful lecture which for even the sceptics will prove illuminating.

So it seems like the UFO conference just ended and yet here we are starting to prepare for the next one. We are happy to announce that the hotel, Aquarius Casino and Resort in Laughlin, Nevada have not raised their rates at all for us so we will be able to once again offer the most affordable package out there in the land of UFO Conferences!

Megalithic Tours have joined with Glastonbury Radio and the ‘Now That’s Weird’ TV and Radio program, to organize next years UK/European tour to the UFO Congress 2010. We hope to be joined by ‘Paola Harris’ from arriving in the US until the Conference and we hope she will be giving us talks en route.
The price will be around £1,500 including flights to and from London, inc all flights, accommodation, travel and UFO Congress tickets/accommodation!
