Star of SyFy’s Fact or Faked in conjunction with Bushnell’s Night Optics USA, a Bushnell company, to host a night vision skywatch at the International UFO Congress on Friday March 1st, 2013.
The International UFO Congress has teamed up with Night Optics USA, a Bushnell company, in partnership with Night Vision Ops to bring an out of this world night vision skywatch to Arizona. The event will be hosted by Ben Hansen, star of the SyFy network’s popular show Fact or Faked and will take place on March 1st at the 22nd annual International UFO Congress.
Night Optics USA will be providing some of their latest military-grade technology for the watch. An assortment of goggles will be available for participants to try out, as well as scopes connected to monitors for viewing. They will also have full spectrum IR/UV cameras, and thermal imaging set-ups.
Hansen will do a brief lecture about skywatching techniques and tools and guide the crowd in identifying satellites, bugs, planes, and other objects as we search the sky for anomalous phenomena.
Night Optics USA will also have a tent in the vendor’s room at the Fort McDowell Resort where people will be able to test their gear in a fun and interactive display. Ben Hansen will be present at the booth during the week to sign autographs and meet and greet with fans.
The International UFO Congress is the largest annual UFO conference in the United States and will be celebrating its 22nd year in existence this February 26th – March 3rd at the Fort McDowell Resort & Casino in Fountain Hills, AZ.
