UFO Convention Film Festival Schedule for EBE Awards Set
All entries are in and the schedule is set for the 19th Annual International UFO Congress Convention and Film Festival. Tickets will be $6 US a night and are available at the convention door at the Aquarius Resort in Laughlin, Nevada. The film festival will run from Saturday, February 20 until Friday, February 26, 2010. The winner of this year’s festival will be announced at the annual EBE Awards banquet on Saturday February 27th, 2010 from 7:00 PM to Midnight. This year’s EBE Awards will hosted by Bob Brown and Paul Davids.

2010 UFO Convention Speaker Spotlight: Dolores Cannon
Dolores Cannon will speak at this year’s convention on Tuesday, February 23, from 4:40 – 6:00p.m. The topic of her discussion will be: Convoluted Book 4
Dolores has recently discovered three waves of people, volunteers, who have come to Earth in the last 50 years. Many are coming from other planets and all of them seem to have a different purpose and are not consciously aware of the missions they signed up for.
Dolores Cannon is a past-life regressionist and hypnotherapist who specializes in the recovery and cataloging of lost knowledge. Her roots in hypnosis go back to the 1960’s. She has been specializing in past-life therapy since 1979. Dolores has become, perhaps, the world’s most unlikely expert on the prophecies of Nostradamus. 2010 Convention Speaker Spotlight: Travis Walton
Travis Walton will be speaking at this year’s conference, held in Laughlin, Nevada, on Friday, February 26, from 8:30 – 10:00AM. His presentation is titled: Fire in the Sky 34 Years later
The discussion will update his recounting of the November 5, 1975 incident with the addition of subsequent developments and insights. A short introductory video will begin the presentation, which includes maps, photos and artistic renderings. His talk will end with taking questions from the audience.
Travis Walton is the subject of the Paramount Studios movie, Fire in the Sky, based on his book of the same name. On November 5, 1975 he was a 22 year-old member of a seven-man logging crew cutting trees in the forested mountain region of Arizona. On the way home from work, the crew encountered a strange glowing object, resulting in an incident that has become recognized as the best documented case of alien abduction ever recorded. Mr. Walton speaks to audiences and media around the world to share what it has been like living through the ordeal of the experience and its aftermath. He presents the evidence for the incident and takes wide ranging questions from the audience, which usually results in bringing out new perspectives and bits of information previously overlooked.

Prices Go Up for UFO Convention and Film Festival on January 18, 2010
After January 18, 2010, the early bird registration reduced rates will end. Prices will go up for all package rates by 8% starting on January 19. In order to get the reduced rates, payment must be received by January 18 at midnight.
The International UFO Congress Convention and Film Festival will be a special one this year as it is the last one being produced by the founders, the Brown family. Bob Brown will retire after this year’s conference and Open Mind Productions will continue it in his legacy. As a result, the Browns have a few special events planned that will surely make this year’s convention memorable. In addition, all attendees will get a sneak peak at what future conferences will hold and get a chance to speak directly with Open Mind Productions in a question and answer session.

So it seems like the UFO conference just ended and yet here we are starting to prepare for the next one. We are happy to announce that the hotel, Aquarius Casino and Resort in Laughlin, Nevada have not raised their rates at all for us so we will be able to once again offer the most affordable package out there in the land of UFO Conferences!

Megalithic Tours have joined with Glastonbury Radio and the ‘Now That’s Weird’ TV and Radio program, to organize next years UK/European tour to the UFO Congress 2010. We hope to be joined by ‘Paola Harris’ from arriving in the US until the Conference and we hope she will be giving us talks en route.
