Bio: Paul Davids was the executive producer and co-writer of the 1994 Showtime dramatic film, “Roswell,” a Golden Globe nominee for Best Television Motion Picture, now considered a classic of the UFO genre. His daylight disc sighting with his two children in 1987 propelled his personal interest in UFOs and was the subject of a CUFOS investigation and numerous articles. He was invited to be the keynote speaker for the White Sands Missile Range Pioneers on their 50th anniversary. His lengthy Hollywood career includes having co-authored six “Star Wars” sequel books in the early 1990’s, and producing and directing nine films, most of which were released internationally to TV by NBCUniversal, including “The Sci-Fi Boys,” which won three EBE Awards as well as Hollywood’s Saturn Award for Best DVD of 2006. His most recent film, “Marilyn Monroe Declassified,” will be shown at the Open Minds 2016 International UFO Congress as a pre-release “sneak preview.” It provides evidence that the CIA was aware of the actress’ unauthorized knowledge of classified UFO information, which became one of the many causes of her downfall.

How did the death of Marilyn Monroe in 1962 presage the assassination of President Kennedy one year later and was there a UFO connection?  Paul Davids has a unique perspective on UFO history, both as the producer of Showtime’s “Roswell” starring Twin Peaks’ Kyle MacLachlan, and as someone who provided Roswell documentation to President Bill Clinton in both 1996 and in person in 2008.  In this presentation, he expands upon his film “Marilyn Monroe Declassified” by looking into the dark and twisted career of former CIA Head of Counterintelligence James Angleton — and FBI surveillance and CIA targeting of women known to have been mistresses of John F. Kennedy, including Marilyn Monroe, Mary Pinchot Meyer and Judith Campbell Exner — and other Hollywood women whose information and activities threatened the FBI and CIA:  Dorothy Kilgallen (who had strong UFO interests) and Jean Seberg (whose support of the Black Panthers made her a victim of the FBI COINTELPRO mind control and discrediting operations, leading to her death).  What were the consequences of leaks of highly classified CIA information in the 1950s and 1960s; how did UFO knowledge gleaned from JFK put Marilyn Monroe at risk; what is the documentation and evidence for this; and what policies kept the truth concealed from the public – and continue to keep it concealed?
