2011 UFO Congress Update
Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to take a brief moment to thank those of you who came out to the 2010 International UFO Congress – This year was truly something to remember. I want to update everyone and address a few questions I have received in the last few days in regards to next years conference in the Phoenix, Arizona area:
Smoking and Non-smoking concerns:
We have had a few questions regarding smoking and some concerns from some people about the fact that the hotel itself is non-smoking. So here’s the deal:
- The rooms are non-smoking, however you can request a ground floor room, which have patios that you can smoke on (the weather will be gorgeous this time of year) – these are on a first come, first served basis.
- The conference center is ground floor with many exits within a few feet from the speaker/vendor areas, that you can quickly and easily rush outside for a smoke break.
- The Fort McDowell Casino is a separate building and the Casino itself is a smoking casino that also has a non-smoking section – so both parties can gamble and eat happily.

Registration times:
Early registration will not begin until late summer/early fall – as soon as I know the exact dates I will update everyone. The registration page will be updated with all the necessary information as soon as I know more
How do I become a speaker or request a speaker for 2011?
We want to provide the best possible speakers for you for 2011 – Tell us who you’d like to see, topics you would like addressed and any other suggestions you would like to send our way.
All your advice will be taken into consideration when we make final selections for speakers (summer/fall time).
To suggest a speaker please email contact@ufocongress.com with speaker name, a brief synopsis of topic/talk and contact information.
I am in the process of updating the site with all the pertinent information for next year – so please be patient with us as we get everything ready for next year.

Jim Nichols, IUFOC 2010 Conference Speaker to Appear on The Cosmic Chronicles
Jim Nichols, noted artist of UFO illustrations for the last thirty years and a speaker at this year’s International UFO Convention and Film Festival, will appear on Cosmic Chronicles on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 6:00PM with a re-airing on Sunday, January 24 at noon. The program is hosted by Kyle Dayton and the topic for discussion will be UFO disclosure – where we are and where we’re going.

Prices Go Up for UFO Convention and Film Festival on January 18, 2010
After January 18, 2010, the early bird registration reduced rates will end. Prices will go up for all package rates by 8% starting on January 19. In order to get the reduced rates, payment must be received by January 18 at midnight.
The International UFO Congress Convention and Film Festival will be a special one this year as it is the last one being produced by the founders, the Brown family. Bob Brown will retire after this year’s conference and Open Mind Productions will continue it in his legacy. As a result, the Browns have a few special events planned that will surely make this year’s convention memorable. In addition, all attendees will get a sneak peak at what future conferences will hold and get a chance to speak directly with Open Mind Productions in a question and answer session.

UFO Congress Convention and Film Festival 2010!
So it seems like the UFO conference just ended and yet here we are starting to prepare for the next one. We are happy to announce that the hotel, Aquarius Casino and Resort in Laughlin, Nevada have not raised their rates at all for us so we will be able to once again offer the most affordable package out there in the land of UFO Conferences!

Biography
Lynne D. Kitei, M.D. is an internationally-acclaimed physician and health
educator, a leader in early disease detection and prevention. Dr. Lynne received her BS in Secondary Science Education from Temple University and an M.D. from the Temple University School of Medicine. Her post graduate studies were completed at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She was Chief Clinical Consultant of the Imaging/Prevention/Wellness Center at the world-renowned Arizona Heart Institute in Phoenix, Arizona until coming forward with the “Phoenix Lights” project in March 2004.
She is a key witness to the still-unexplained mass sighting that took place throughout Arizona on March 13, 1997 called the “Phoenix Lights.” After years of private research and continued sightings of anomalous phenomena, Dr. Lynne feels it is imperative to share the compelling data she has compiled in her bestselling book, “The Phoenix Lights…A Skeptic’s Discovery That We Are Not Alone” (Hampton Roads Publishing, c2004) and the Internationally award winning Documentary, “The Phoenix Lights…We Are Not Alone” (c2005, 2008), currently being distributed worldwide by Vanguard Cinema.

Biography
Dr. Michael Salla is an internationally recognized scholar in international politics, conflict resolution and U.S. foreign policy. He has held academic appointments in the School of International Service & the Center for Global Peace, American University, Washington DC (1996-2004); the Department of Political Science, Australian National University, Canberra, Australia (1994-96); and the Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University, Washington D.C., (2002). He has a Ph.D in Government from the University of Queensland, Australia. He has been awarded significant financial grants from the United States Institute of Peace and the Ford Foundation for peacemaking initiatives involving mid to high level participants from the East Timor conflict.
Dr. Salla is more popularly known as a pioneer in the development of ‘Exopolitics’, the scholarly study of the main actors, institutions and political processes associated with extraterrestrial life. His groundbreaking Exopolitics: Political Implications of the Extraterrestrial Presence (Dandelion Books, 2004) presented the first scholarly framework for understanding the political implications of an undisclosed extraterrestrial presence. Race to Witch Mountain has a UFO Conference Scene
The International UFO Congress worked with set designers for Disney’s Race to Witch Mountain to help create the UFO Conference Vendor Room for a scene in the movie. Release date is scheduled for March 13, 2009, perfect timing for the 2009 UFO Conference in Laughlin, Nevada.
