February is just around the corner and we hope you will be able to join us for what is sure to be a monumental event. We had a great time last year and are looking forward to some new features and great speakers.
On February 21, 2012, the day BEFORE the conference begins, we will be having a full day film festival that is free to the public – then throughout the conference we will be showing the best of the best from Tuesday’s films during the evenings and once again, announcing the winners at the 2011 EBE Awards and Banquet. If you have a film you would like to submit to the festival, the deadline is January 1st unless otherwise negotiated. Contact for details.

Remember to book your hotel room early – once the hotel is fully booked we will have overflow hotels standing by (with shuttle to/from the conference). You can book your hotel room online at the Radission UFO page or by calling 1-800-395-7046 and mentioning the “Open Minds UFO Conference” to get your discounted rate.

Hey everyone-
OI attended last years conference for the first time and was so impressed with everything- I planned on returniung this year with a few friends but when I went to book the hotel (Early december) they told me that the hotel was already sold out for that week entirley! I was shocked…..I also remembered many people complaing that they didnt like staying at the Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn because it was so far away and with the wait for shuttles and number of people in line it sometimes took them 2 hours ot get to the conference! This seems like a huge problem and I plan on canceling my registration and my friends if we cant stay at the Fort Mcdowell Radison- I am so dissapointed and am calling the hotel directly daily in a someone OCD attempt to get a room! Do you have any plans to correct this problem for next year? Any suggestions for this year?!
