Talk Synopsis:
UFO Abductions: Are They Spiritual?
Experiencers of Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind or even abductions interpret their experiences with political, scientific, and religious implications. Since the 1980s, abduction reports involving abductions leading to the birth of hybrid babies appear, on the surface, like sexual abuse with traumatic consequences. Still, abductees frequently claim their experiences have opened them up to their higher self, a sense of unity with nature, and to new dimensions of reality. Does this new sense of unity with ultimate reality become a substitute for belief in God? Or, is it a supplement and complement?
