About: A Professor Emeritus at Montana State University, Dr. Ardy Sixkiller Clarke, was a researcher, teacher and director of the Center of Bilingual Education. She has conducted research about encounters with UFOs and Star People among indigenous peoples throughout the world. Her first book, which chronicles her journey and tells the stories of American Indian experiences, was published in December 2013. Entitled, Encounters with Star People : Untold Stories of American Indians, the book has been a best-seller for Anomalist Books. Her second book, which continues her journey, Encounters with Star People: Untold Stories from the Indigenous People of Central America and Mexico, is scheduled for release in 2014.

Talk Synopsis: Encounters with Star People: An Indigenous Perspective

This presentation will focus on the author’s book, Encounters with Star People: Untold Stories of American Indians and provide insight into the long-established relationship among American Indians and the Star People through traditional legends. Her presentation will include more details about many of the stories revealed in the book as well as stories told by individuals not included in the book. In addition, Dr. Clarke will share information about her work-in-progress among the indigenous people in Central America and Mexico. The presentation will be followed by an opportunity for questions from the audience.
